Lies, Lies, Lies

I had removed the tire and marked the spot where the tire was leaking. It was a very small leak and we had a difficult time finding the leak. I took the tire in for repair. First the counter person said the tire was too old for repair. That was lie #1. When I went back to pick up the tire we were told they had patched the leak, lie #2. He said they had found a nail, lie #3, and plugged the leak. We had looked very closely to find the leak and there was definately no nails in the tire. They had installed a plug in the tire where there was no nail! They removed and replaced an old plug that had been there for as many as maybe five years and was not leaking. We were told three plugs or patches was the maximum alowed and if the tire went flat again I'd have to replace it. I reinstalled the tire on the car and a little over twenty-four hours later it was nearly flat again. I removed the tire from the car and with water located the leak. They had not patched the leak for which we had taken the tire in for! Lies, lies, lies! I expect they would try to sell me a new tire if I took it back Monday, however, I am heading home Sunday as quickly as I can get the tire repaired. How could they improve their service? Fire the counter person and instruct others working for the company to be honest!

I've purchased on two different occassions on two different vehicles from Discount Tire at Easton. Their customer service is outstanding, as I've never had to make an appointment, I just show up and get great service. I especially appreciate their prices, tire quality, warranties, and lifetime rotation. Numerous times I've had nails in my tire repaired for free and on two occassions they replaced the tire for free minus treadwear. The pricing is no hassle and I leave not feeling like I've been taken advantage of. Will go back again and again.

DOUGLASVILLE GA STORE; I’ve been using them for 6 years and so far so good. You can find your exact price online before you go. All other tire company’s give some bait and switch price. Another thing about looking at tires online you can research the best tire and best price for your needs (thank you Consumer Reports) every time I needed a repair they do it no charge. And EVERY time I’ve bought tires they don’t try to hustle some other tire on me and they get my car in and out very quickly. I wish they did other services because ALL THE OTHER mechanics/ auto repairs shops in Douglas County & Cobb County really really REALLY suck. I would give my first born for a decent mechanic, well maybe one of the step-kids. :- )
